You can take up things you haven&#8217;t played for ages, like the Sicilienne Vari\u00e9e or the Aubade &#8211; I think I last played the Sicilienne in 1976! You revisit them after a whole career, you intersperse them with other relevant works, and this gives you more idea about everything.\u00a0Also, there is much more variety and depth to Damase than he is commonly given credit for.
