It is housed in a <a href=\"http:\/\/codinaarchitectural.com\/blog-en\/musikene-the-new-home-of-basque-music\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">splendid new building<\/a> by architectural studio GAZ, with a dramatic, shiny black and gold exterior evoking the colours of the instruments inside it. Isabelle&#8217;s fantastic teaching needs little introduction &#8211; if you&#8217;re not working with her in Oslo, or at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camac-harps.com\/blog\/en\/academie-camac-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Academie Camac<\/a> in Dijon in May, then she is also teaching two summer courses: the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/summeracademy.no\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Voksen\u00e5sen summer academy<\/a> from August 5 &#8211; 10, 2018, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arpahorta.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arpa Horta<\/a> from August 25 &#8211; September 2nd.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We also enjoyed a lovely classical concert on the Saturday night, with Isabelle and two of her students from Oslo:\u00a0Sara Esturillo and Claire Moncharmont. This was also the occasion of the formal presentation of our new concert grand models, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camac-harps.com\/blog\/en\/harps-en\/pedal\/canopee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canop\u00e9e<\/a> and the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.camac-harps.com\/blog\/en\/harps-en\/pedal\/art-nouveau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Art Nouveau<\/a>, in Spain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Students also had a chance to explore new territory with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bjcg.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ben Creighton Griffiths.<\/a>\u00a0Harpists of a certain age may still think of Ben as a classical wunderkind, but he is also making an increasing name for himself in jazz. We are very happy to sponsor him often. He gives excellent improvisation workshops for all ages and stages, which we warmly recommend to anybody interested in getting to grips with jazz. \u00a0On-stage,\u00a0Ben has been working a lot with his blue harp, synths and keys, creating a whole band while often remaining the only performer. His most recent album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camac-harps.com\/blog\/en\/blog\/news\/1-man-band\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 Man Band<\/a>, was released a year ago &#8211; in San Sebastian, we saw him developing the concept still further, with the addition of drum pads and other intriguing kit.
