It is almost time for the Edinburgh International Harp Festival!<\/a> This is one of the most distinguished and important events in the international harp calendar, and as always, it is one you simply won’t want to miss!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This fabulous edition (now in its 45th year) returns to George Watson\u2019s College from 10 to 14 April 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We’re proud to be one of the sponsors and to be supporting an inspiring lineup of performers. This includes none other than Catrin Finch,<\/a> in her duo with violinist Aoife N\u00ed Bhriain, who are a formidable virtuoso duo, and their rousing, original music always brings the audience to its feet. On the Celtic side of things, we will sponsor a concert by our great friend Marianne Gubri<\/a> (Brittany\/ Italy), who we are also delighted will be flying the flag for Camac.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her performance will immerse the audience in a journey that combines ancient scales, celestial imagery, and an ethereal sound world. Featuring a blend of harp and delicate electronic layers, it aims to evoke the Music of the Spheres. The concert promises to be both meditative and inspiring, bringing together art, science, and spirituality.<\/span><\/p>\n

As always, we will be represented at the festival by our UK distributors, Telynau Vining.<\/a> Whilst there, as well as an exhibition of fine Camac harps, it will also be possible to service your Camac harp; Elen and her father, Paul Vining, are renowned for their generous support of the festival and their commitment to the harp community there.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Other highlights include the very intriguing and popular \u201charp tasting\u201d on Sunday lunchtime, where audiences can compare the exquisite sounds of harps from different exhibitors, while professional players perform the same tune on harps of all makes present at the festival, to showcase each instrument’s unique tone. It’s a fun, interactive experience that offers a rare chance to appreciate the craftsmanship behind each harp\u2014and maybe even hear your harp before you buy it?<\/span><\/p>\n
