To begin the 2016-17 season, we have\u00a0a major new development from our side: the opening of our exclusive distribution\u00a0for the Netherlands. Directed by our partner Sabine Meijers, you’ll find Camac Harpen Nederland a stone’s throw from Rotterdam Central Station. The\u00a0new showroom has almost two hundred square metres\u00a0exhibition space over\u00a0two levels, two\u00a0soundproofed practice studios, and a large, hand-picked selection of our finest instruments. There is also a display of art on the walls by Erik Pape<\/a>, the well-known Dutch artist who\u00a0famously derives his inspiration entirely from Paris.<\/p>\n

Sabine Meijers will be no stranger to most of you, in her role as co-executive director and founder of the excellent Jazz Harp Foundation<\/a>. A professional classical and jazz harpist, she is also an arts management graduate of the Management of Arts & Culture certificate program from\u00a0the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2009. We have worked with Sabine for many years, and are\u00a0delighted to be taking our collaboration with her to the next level, with this major new resource for harpists in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
