En tant que harpiste et interpr\u00e8te, on se trouve toujours dans une certaine forme de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 sur sc\u00e8ne ; mais ici, il s\u2019agit d\u2019un dialogue profond\u00e9ment intime avec son moi plus jeune. \u00c9tait-ce lib\u00e9rateur de partager ces id\u00e9es et ces pens\u00e9es \u00e0 travers l\u2019album ? <i>\u00ab Cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s r\u00e9parateur, et assur\u00e9ment lib\u00e9rateur, d\u2019\u00e9crire la musique et les lettres pour cet album. En tant que harpistes \u2014 et instrumentistes en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u2014 nous avons rarement l\u2019occasion d\u2019associer des mots \u00e0 notre musique. Il me semblait important, pour ce projet, d\u2019offrir une narration et d\u2019utiliser la puissance des mots aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de celle de la musique. \u00bb<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">En tant que facteur de harpes, il serait difficile de ne pas dire combien nous sommes fiers que Catrin ait choisi sa harpe Camac personnalis\u00e9e pour cet enregistrement remarquable et profond\u00e9ment personnel, afin de traduire la musique de son monde int\u00e9rieur. <i>\u00ab Ma Camac m\u2019a offert tout ce que je recherchais \u2014 et m\u00eame davantage \u2014 dans l\u2019univers sonore de ce projet. J\u2019ai savour\u00e9 chaque instant du processus d\u2019enregistrement avec elle, et je me r\u00e9jouis d\u00e9sormais de pr\u00e9senter ce programme en concert. Il n\u2019y a pas de sensation plus forte pour moi que de cr\u00e9er, sur sc\u00e8ne, le merveilleux kal\u00e9idoscope de sons que cette harpe rend possible. \u00bb<\/i><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u00c9couter\u00a0<i>Notes to Self<\/i> est une exp\u00e9rience intens\u00e9ment \u00e9mouvante. Nous connaissons tous l\u2019art \u00e9blouissant de Catrin, communicatrice n\u00e9e et virtuose accomplie. Mais lorsqu\u2019elle nous ouvre les portes de son univers, nous offrant un aper\u00e7u de son pass\u00e9 et de son pr\u00e9sent, nous sommes des auditeurs privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s.
