Ben vient tout juste de sortir un nouvel album intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a01 Man Band\u00a0\u00bb. Ben travaille beaucoup sur la combinaison entre sa harpe bleue, les synth\u00e9s et les claviers, cr\u00e9ant ainsi un groupe tout entier alors que bien souvent il reste seul sur sc\u00e8ne. Nous avons eu l’occasion de le voir en concert plusieurs fois : \u00e0\u00a0Cambridge, \u00e0 Prague, \u00e0 Cardiff, \u00e0 Utrecht, entre autres.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Pour cet album, je ne cherchais pas \u00e0 faire un CD de harpe, un CD de jazz ou m\u00eame un CD de harpe jazz,\u00a0\u00bb nous explique Ben. \u00ab\u00a01 Man Band est un arr\u00eat sur image de l\u00e0 o\u00f9 j’en suis dans mon \u00e9volution en tant que musicien, une repr\u00e9sentation de ce que j’ai plaisir \u00e0 faire \u00e0 l’instant T… \u00a0J’ai m\u00e9lang\u00e9 divers genres musicaux que j’appr\u00e9cie (comme le jazz gipsy, le reggae, le funk), j’ai utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois de la musique \u00e9lectronique et acoustique, et j’y ai inclus toutes sortes de diff\u00e9rents timbres et tonalit\u00e9s, \u00e0 l’image de la musique que j’aime jouer sur sc\u00e8ne.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\"1<\/a>\u00ab\u00a01 Man Band\u00a0\u00bb est un disque solo, mais Ben est rejoint par Matthew Williams aux percussions et \u00e0 la batterie pour le dernier morceau de l’album (\u00ab\u00a0The Station\u00a0\u00bb) compos\u00e9 conjointement par Ben et Matthew. \u00ab\u00a0Ce morceau fait partie d’un autre projet que je m\u00e8ne actuellement, mais je voulais l’int\u00e9grer \u00e0 cet album en avant-premi\u00e8re. Mon grand ami\u00a0Matthew Williams et moi avons cr\u00e9\u00e9 un groupe qui s’appelle \u00ab\u00a0Chube\u00a0\u00bb. Plut\u00f4t que d’\u00eatre un groupe r\u00e9ellement constitu\u00e9, notre objectif est d’\u00eatre le noyau d’un ensemble de musiciens qui sont sur la m\u00eame longueur d’onde et qui composent, arrangent et enregistrent ensemble. Ce travail collectif m’apportera je pense plus d’opportunit\u00e9s en tant que compositeur et interpr\u00e8te, et nous sommes tr\u00e8s enthousiastes \u00e0 l’id\u00e9e de d\u00e9velopper ce projet cette ann\u00e9e.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
