April 21, 2018“Arghhhhhh”, a colleague said just the other week, “one of the Camac team is going to have to tune this harp. Your tuner is in French and when I play an A flat, it tells me I’m getting a Sol dièse. I’m going crazy and I just tuned half an octave a semitone too low.” Does this sound familiar? SUFFER NO MORE! We have collaborated with Eagletone to make a tuner especially for the harp.Read more…

Our work with Edmar Castaneda, developing a new kind of llanera harp, has sparked many adventures in South America. This week, we're delighted to have sponsored the Taller Itinerante de Arpa de Pedales, which has been taking place at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Mexico City. Read more…

Updated second-hand harps online

We acquire our second-hand harps in part-exchange, when their owners upgrade to new Camacs. We thoroughly overhaul and regulate the instruments in our workshops, so you can be sure the harp is in the best possible condition.

Musikene, in San Sebastian in the Basque Country, is housed in a splendid new building by architectural studio GAZ, with a dramatic, shiny black and gold exterior evoking the colours of the instruments inside it. We have enjoyed a very successful harp weekend in collaboration with Musikene professors Christine Icart and Julien Marcou, Isabelle Perrin, Ben Creighton Griffiths, Erasmus, Musikene and Camac Ibérica.
Harpes au Max 2018
March 6, 2018
Harpes au Max is a special festival organised by the COMPA, the civic authorities of our home in Brittany, in partnership with us and the town of Ancenis. It began after we threw a big fortieth birthday celebration in the town - after which, the elected local councillors decided to do it again! We're hugely looking forward to the third festival, and the second official Harpes au Max, over the third weekend of May 2018.
