Harpist Şirin Pancaroğlu’s work with the Turkish Harp Project is recognised worldwide, including performing on authentic instruments, leading workshops globally, and publishing and composing highly acclaimed original music influenced by Turkish musical idioms. With her latest educational resource, “Flavours of Turkish Music for Harpists,” Şirin draws on her extensive experience exploring Turkish harp music to inspire harpists from any background and introduce them to Turkish melodies and rhythms in a clear, accessible manner. En conclusion du festival Harpes aux Max, nous avons proprement fêté la créativité et l'esprit de communauté. Nous remercions sincèrement l’engagement de tous les artistes et équipes techniques qui ont contribué au succès de ce festival. Les jours heureux: Harkan à l’Espace Camac !

Harkan est un trio inédit autour de la harpiste française Maïa Darmé, le joueur de kanun (cithare orientale) tunisien Mohamed-Amine Kalaï, et le percussionniste kurde iranien Ebrahim Ahmadi (au daf, au dayereh et au bendir). Harkan navigue sur toutes les rives de la Méditerranée, entre pièces sensuelles et danses effrénées, musiques savantes et populaires, orient et occident. Le samedi 17 mai à 20 h, ils transporteront le public de l’Espace Camac vers des contrées lointaines pour un voyage qui s’annonce d’ores et déjà féerique. En savoir plus…
De New York à Cardiff : le premier album du Transatlantic Hot Club

The Transatlantic Hot Club has long been a favourite with us at Camac. Formed in the balmy climes of the Caribbean, the group was founded by Ben Creighton-Griffiths (harp) and Adrien Chevalier (Violin) in 2013, Over two days, the group set up camp in Zoot Studios, Paris, and 'From New York to Cardiff' was born.
