The Edinburgh International Harp Festival 2024

The fabulous Edinburgh International Harp Festival  (now in its 43rd year) returns to George Watson’s College from April 5th to April 9th, 2024.

As always, prospective festival goers can look forward to an absolutely packed few days of concerts from  internationally renowned performers, as well as emerging artists, groups and ensembles. The festival has always emphasised education; this they have always done with a welcoming and inclusive approach, and there will be the usual wide range of courses and workshops.

While of course there is an understandable spotlight on the lever harp in all its forms, the festival will celebrate a host of other traditions. The best of Scottish players are joined this year by musicians from from Colombia, Paraguay, the US, Ireland, Italy and the UK. Pedals harpists will also be catered for with the annual pedal harp course in the capable hands of Sue Rothstein.

The truly vibrant array of performers include:  Adriano Sangineto (Italy), Anne-Marie O’Farrell (Ireland), Chris Stout & Catriona McKay (Scotland), Diego Laverde Rojas (Columbia), Ingrid Henderson & Iain MacFarlane with Margaret Stewart (Scotland), James Ruff (USA), Sixto Corbalán & Pedro Martínez (Paraguay), Sunita Staneslow (USA), Tarran (Scotland).

We are immensely proud to be a principal sponsor of this, one of the most established and revered harp events in the world. We will be represented by our stalwart UK partners Telynau Vining Harps and our dear friend Elen Vining looks forward to welcoming you to the exhibition stand.
