Next stop: Limoges and le Concours Français de la harpe 2024

A multitude of harps are packed, standing like navy-blue sentinels in the halls of our offices at Mouzeil! This is because the Concours Français de la Harpe is holding its 13th edition Feb. 23–25, 2024, in Limoges, France. Catering to harpists of every level, the annual competition’s 12 repertoire divisions are open to harpists of all nationalities. There is no age specification, and harpists can apply to multiple divisions, making it a very diverse and welcoming environment to the aspiring musician.

The Concours Français de la Harpe in Limoges has been an unmissable fixture in the Camac France calendar for over a decade. Artistic directors Marie-Monique Popesco and Véronique Chenuet welcome over 100 competitors to Limoges every year, from the smallest beginners to young professionals, all drawn to the opportunity to excel in the supportive and welcoming environment.

The competition will also host an unmissable recital by the outstanding Yuanyuan Zhuang. Zhuang is Harpist with the National Symphony Orchestra of China. In 2021 she was the First Prize of the ‘Excellence’ category the Concours Français de la Harpe, and went on to collaborate with Camac in organising the Chinese Concours Français de la Harpe.

Camac is proud to have worked with and supported the competition since its inception, providing harps to be exhibited and played at the competition. We’re delighted to be one of the sponsors of this fabulous competition, and look forward to seeing you in Limoges!
