  • “Dasson an Delenn” is a Celtic harp competition organised by Camac, open to harp students under the age of 21 of all nationalities. It offers them the opportunity to perform in public and in front of a jury, playing a repertoire of music for lever harp (original music, composed or arranged for the harp).

Beyond the competition itself, this event aims to offer students and their teachers a weekend of encounters and promotion of the Celtic harp in a friendly and competitive atmosphere.

The competition is divided into four categories determined by age limits corresponding to progressive levels, from young novice harpists to future professional soloists. There is no minimum age to participate in a category, and participation in several categories is permitted.

Please visit the competition website for regulations and information on how to apply—applications open on 5 January 2026. As places are limited, registrations will be accepted in the order they are received and confirmed by email.

The Dasson an Delenn competition would like to warmly thank the management and staff of the Claude Debussy Conservatory of Music in Saint-Malo for their enthusiastic welcome, harp teacher Anne Le Signor for her valuable advice, the City of Saint-Malo for their support, and our partners Savarez strings, Galli strings, and Ischell microphones.

    Godefroid Harp Competition 2026
  • Collegium21 is a unique musical and educational event in the world of the harp. Its aim is to promote the harp music of today by encouraging exchange between composers and young harpists. Organized in two stages, it offers harpists of all levels the opportunity to discover contemporary compositions through a series of masterclasses led by guest composers. This is followed, a fortnight later, by a competition whose program consists largely of the works studied during the masterclasses, videos of which are available on the event’s website.

Launched in 2016 by Ghislaine Petit-Volta, Collegium21 is supported by the association Les signes de l’arc, under the joint artistic direction of Ghislaine Petit-Volta and Laurence Bancaud.

The sixth edition will take place in 2026 at the Conservatoire C.R.R. in Paris: masterclasses on May 30 and 31 and the competition on June 13 and 14.

All information is available on the competition website.
