  • We are looking forward to the 15th edition of the Concours Français de la Harpe, taking place in the beautiful city of Limoges.  The artistic directors, Véronique Chenuet and Marie-Monique Popesco, have once again expertly masterminded this large-scale competition, which encompasses harp playing at all skill levels, from the novice to the highly advanced.

The proceedings will kick off with a breathtaking recital, featuring the extraordinary talents of last year’s winner, Nicole Pedroni (Italy).

We take immense pride in our ongoing collaboration with this prestigious competition, and we are always thrilled to contribute to what has become an inspiring celebration of harp artistry.

As always, our team will be in place to provide servicing for Camac harps and an exhibition of harps for testing and purchase.

  • We are proud to invite you to an exceptional concert by the exceptional Mélanie Laurent (principal harp, Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra) at the Espace Camac on 20 February at 20 h. An international soloist, Mélanie is the First Prize winner of the USA International Harp Competition, whom Gautier Capuçon has hailed as an artist who “splendidly continues the great tradition of the French harp.”

With the participation of Elodie Laurent (viola) and Joséphine Poncelin (flute), Mélanie will perform solos and chamber music from the delicate and prismatic world of French music, of which she is a prominent exponent.

Some of that music will be drawn from her recent, critically acclaimed album “Pastel”, which leads us on:  “A musical journey of gentleness and light, where the harp reveals its thousand shades. Rare works, masterpieces, and new transcriptions intertwine in an impressionistic, sensual, and poetic world. An ode to nature, imagination, creative women, and to beauty that withstands the passage of time…”

It will undoubtedly also be a celebration of music by great women composers. Come and enjoy works by Mel Bonis, Cécile Chaminade, and Renié, in this tribute to an exquisite aspect of the harp.

20 February: Mélanie Laurent and ‘Pastel’ with Élodie Laurent (viola) and Joséphine Poncelin (flute) at Espace Camac
  • We warmly invite you to join us for a special musical celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, with not one but two unmissable concerts at the Espace Camac on Friday, March 20.

First, at 6:30 p.m., we are delighted to welcome the duo Est en Ouest – Rencontre entre deux musiciens (Florence de Faucher, harp and vocals, and Éric Brongniart on Irish flute), who share a passion for traditional music. Head west for this concert to discover Irish music. A story that naturally begins with the baroque compositions of harpist Turlough O’Carolan, followed by songs evoking the turbulent history of the Emerald Isle, and of course, a dive into the repertoire of Irish sessions that enliven pubs around the world: jigs, reels, slides, hornpipes, polkas… Slàinte!

At 8 p.m., we will have the opportunity to enjoy the exceptional combination of the Celtic harp and uilleann pipes: Quentin Vestur and Glenn Gouthe present a wealth of traditional music from Ireland, Brittany, and Scotland, ranging from slow tunes to lively dances, as well as ancient and recently composed melodies.

The rare combination of uilleann pipes and Celtic harp led these two musicians to seek a meaningful dialogue between the instruments. They offer music that moves between elaborate arrangements and the compelling simplicity of traditional music, always delivering both energy and finesse.

Your reservation entitles you to two concerts for the price of one.

March 20 : St. Patrick's Day Concerts at Espace Camac
  • “Dasson an Delenn” is a Celtic harp competition organised by Camac, open to harp students under the age of 21 of all nationalities. It offers them the opportunity to perform in public and in front of a jury, playing a repertoire of music for lever harp (original music, composed or arranged for the harp).

Beyond the competition itself, this event aims to offer students and their teachers a weekend of encounters and promotion of the Celtic harp in a friendly and competitive atmosphere.

The competition is divided into four categories determined by age limits corresponding to progressive levels, from young novice harpists to future professional soloists. There is no minimum age to participate in a category, and participation in several categories is permitted.

Please visit the competition website for regulations and information on how to apply—applications open on 5 January 2026. As places are limited, registrations will be accepted in the order they are received and confirmed by email.

The Dasson an Delenn competition would like to warmly thank the management and staff of the Claude Debussy Conservatory of Music in Saint-Malo for their enthusiastic welcome, harp teacher Anne Le Signor for her valuable advice, the City of Saint-Malo for their support, and our partners Savarez strings, Galli strings, and Ischell microphones.

  • We warmly invite you to an inspiring evening with a unique trio that breathes new life into the spirit of Mouez Breiz, Brittany’s pioneering record label of the 1950s. Once a symbol of cultural revival, Mouez Breiz captured Brittany’s rich musical heritage through raw, pioneering recordings.

Having thoroughly explored archival sources, this trio reimagines that legacy, blending traditional sounds with free improvisation and original composition.

The artists sample, dissect, and reimagine old recordings, weaving a rich, organic tapestry of sound that bridges past and present. They challenge conventions and create an unexpected sonic journey, paying homage to the artists of the original catalogue.

Join us for a concert that celebrates the past and explores the vibrant possibilities of Breton music today.

Pierre Stephan : Violon / Electronique

Nikolaz Cadoret : Harpe électrique / Effets
