  • A true pioneer in her field,  Rossitza Milevska is an artist who transcends musical boundaries, one who stands out for her talents as a composer and improviser, as well as her fluidity in the worlds of jazz and classical music.

Originally from Bulgaria,  Rossitza obtained advanced degrees in both the piano and the harp in her native Sofia. She subsequently furthered her studies in classical harp in France with Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche as well as in jazz piano and jazz harp with Robert Persi at the Conservatoire National à Rayonnement régional de Nice. Here she obtained a DEM in Jazz and was the first harpist to graduate in jazz harp from a French conservatory.

As well as teaching and giving masterclasses internationally, Rossitza has distinguished herself with original and innovative projects. More recently, Ibrahim Maalouf handpicked her to be part of his newly formed orchestra, the “Free Spirit Ensemble”

We are delighted to welcome to her to the Espace Camac, where she will give a fabulous performance with her friend and collaborator Jerôme Achat on drums.

As ever, entry to the concert is free, but please make your reservations by completing the form below, or by sending an email to [email protected], or by telephoning (+33)  01 40 40 08 40

  • MAXIMA POESIA are a group whose raison d’être is to accentuate the living relationship between poetic writing and modern jazz.

Using texts from a variety of different styles and highly distinctive authors (amongst them  Arthur Cravan, Joyce Mansour, Jacques Vaché Peter Handke and Boris Vian ), Maxima Poesia seek to: “give the poem back its orality, its voice, its breath, proposing a contemporary Jazz where it can breathe”, in a musical language that combines elements of the Chanson tradition, spoken word and slam.

They are also a group that includes the harp to ravishing effect.

As part of a national tour celebrating their latest release Une Ode à la poésie des marges (Production Collectif Ephémère / Distribution DistroKid), we are delighted to welcome this one-of-a-kind ensemble for a concert at the Espace Camac. It promises to be an evening where fusion, alchemy even, of music and poetry creates something rare, intimate and utterly exceptional.

As ever, entry to the concert is free, but please make your reservations by completing the form below, or by sending an email to [email protected].
