21 Mar 2020POSTPONED: owing to the current outbreak of COVID-19 outbreak, we are obliged to postpone our weekend in Saint-Louis. We will keep you updated as soon as we have been able to reschedule.
Now in its fourth edition, the Académie Camac is our fully-sponsored course for exceptional concert harp students aged between 18 and 30.
Camac Harps sponsor the entire course (tuition, meals, accommodation).
The course has had to be postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. We will assign new dates as soon as possible.
We will be back in North London for the annual competitions we have sponsored in the capital for over a decade. This event provides competition experience in a supportive atmosphere, for harpists living and/or studying in the UK and Ireland, and with classes from beginner level to young professional. Our collaboration with the excellent London music and literary festival, the Proms at St Jude’s, continues; a lunchtime recital will be offered to the winner of the U30 Camac prize.
The NLF website is in the process of being updated for 2020. If you’d like to receive an email once the entry form is active, please contact Helen Leitner and we’ll put you on our list!
Artist Relations Manager
Miriam Overlach and Heather Downie will be guest artists at the 7th Camac Sweden Harp Days, organised by Ismahni Björkman and the Danderyds Kulturskola. With Miriam, harpists in Sweden can explore classical and contemporary/avant-garde music; and with Heather, Scottish traditional music – all at the highest level. Camac France CEO Eric Piron will also be in attendance with an exhibition of the latest new instruments to leave our workshops in Mouzeil.
