  • The Collection Hexagone is a series of events organized by Camac to promote the harp in all its forms in the regions of France. We are thrilled to welcome you to a captivating performance by none other than Cécile Corbel.

This artist has carved out a unique and inspired path as a composer, author, Celtic harpist, and singer. Born in Finistère, Brittany,  Corbel has released a dozen studio albums with Simon Caby, her partner in life and on stage.

Her taste for the legendary, fantasy, and imaginary cultures has also led her naturally to compose music for films.

She has created several original soundtracks for cinema, including that of the film “Arrietty, The Secret World of Arrietty“ by the iconic Studio Ghibli, which was named Film of the Year in Japan in 2010 and earned her the title of Best Soundtrack of the Year at the Japan Golden Disc Awards, as well as two gold discs, and the French wildlife film ”Terre des Ours” released in 2014.

Come and discover the world of Cécile Corbel on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the church in Blagnac.

  • The seventh edition of the International Harp Competition in Szeged, Hungary, will take place between November 19 – November 23 , 2025. There are three competition categories: 14 and under, 19 and under and 25 and under, and the competition always celebrates a Hungarian composer and a major harp repertoire composer. For the seventh edition, the event will celebrate two significant anniversaries: the 150th anniversary of the births of Henriette Renié and Maurice Ravel (both born in 1875), and the 50th anniversary of the passing of Marcel Grandjany (who died in 1975).

Their compositions have been included as set pieces in the program, alongside works by two Hungarian composers, reflecting the competition’s ongoing mission to support and promote Hungarian music.

Comprehensive information about rules, prizes, programmes and deadlines are available here on the competition’s webpage. You’ll also find the entry form, including upload details for the video preliminary round. The closing date for applications is September 15, 2025.

19-23 November 2025: 7th International Harp Competition in Szeged
  • “Dasson an Delenn” is a Celtic harp competition organised by Camac, open to harp students under the age of 21 of all nationalities. It offers them the opportunity to perform in public and in front of a jury, playing a repertoire of music for lever harp (original music, composed or arranged for the harp).

Beyond the competition itself, this event aims to offer students and their teachers a weekend of encounters and promotion of the Celtic harp in a friendly and competitive atmosphere.

The competition is divided into four categories determined by age limits corresponding to progressive levels, from young novice harpists to future professional soloists. There is no minimum age to participate in a category, and participation in several categories is permitted.

Please visit the competition website for regulations and information on how to apply—applications open on 5 January 2026. As places are limited, registrations will be accepted in the order they are received and confirmed by email.

The Dasson an Delenn competition would like to warmly thank the management and staff of the Claude Debussy Conservatory of Music in Saint-Malo for their enthusiastic welcome, harp teacher Anne Le Signor for her valuable advice, the City of Saint-Malo for their support, and our partners Savarez strings, Galli strings, and Ischell microphones.
